Designed for individuals seeking a new career or pursuing initial teacher certification, the online MAT program at 51勛圖窪蹋厙 is ideal for those with a bachelor's degree from a Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) accredited institution who are eager to obtain initial teacher certification in a specialized content area.

Spanning three semesters, the MAT program offers a pedagogy-focused curriculum tailored to address the critical need for highly qualified and effective schoolteachers in Middle Georgia and throughout the state. As part of a cohort, you will benefit from off-site placements at partner school districts, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in real-world classroom settings.

GACE Ethics Assessment (G360)

The Georgia Ethics assessment is computer-delivered via the web-based Georgia Ethics assessment system. Designed for beginning and currently practicing teachers, the Georgia Educator Ethics assessment (Test Code 360) focuses primarily on scenarios that could occur in the day-to-day life of a teacher in a classroom. The Georgia Ethics assessments are reported as "Passed" or "Not Passed." Once you have successfully passed the assessment, you will be able to print a certificate that indicates your status. See the "Admissions" FAQ below for more information regarding testing requirements for MAT applicants.
