| Biography: | Angeles Salinas (b. 1972, Mexico City, Mexico) received her MFA and BFA from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a Bachelor in Graphic Design from the Universidad Iberoamericana. She has exhibited at Ruby City, Flight Gallery, Artspace 111, Mexic-Arte, Galeria UNAM San Antonio, Contemporary at Blue Star, San Antonio Museum of Art, San Antonio Artist League Museum, Centro Aztlan, and College of Mainland, among others. She is also the recipient of multiple awards and recognitions for her artistic research, among them, Salinas is a recipient of the New York foundation for the Arts Immigrant Artist Mentoring Program Fellowship. She has taught undergraduate classes and community classes at UTSA. Salinas has over 40 years of painting practice, as well as has extensive experience in drawing and mixed media. |

| Professional Experience: | Highly developed symbolic contemporary art language applied to artwork. Participation in multiple exhibits, both collective and individual, national and international. 40 years of painting practice. 34 years of drawing practice. 3 years of experience teaching at Undergraduate level the following courses: Basic Painting Drawing 1 Intermediate Painting Intermediate Drawing 2D Foundations 3D Foundations Several years of experience teaching after school and summer art lessons to 6-12 graders. |
