Biography: | James began as Assistant Professor for Sport Management on August 1, 2019 after over 9 years with the institution in Athletics and Recreation. James joined 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø in March of 2010 as the Director of Recreation and Wellness then joined Athletics in 2013 and moved his office to Cochran. In his time with the institution, he has overseen the design and development of the Recreation & Wellness Center on the Macon campus and worked on the committee to move the athletic program from NJCAA to NAIA. He has overseen all game operations, sports information, website, social media, recreation & wellness professional staff, and club sports. James has worked in the start up of both the NCFA Football program and the IHSA Equestrian program. James completed his Doctorate of Public Administration (DPA) with a concentration in Sport Management at Valdosta State University. His dissertation topic was Consolidation in the University System of Georgia and was successfully defended on 10/28/21. |
