Biography: Matthew Mark Caverly is from Rhinelander, Wisconsin. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army. A graduate of the University of Florida. And, has pursued a scholarly career in political science with an emphasis on presidential and public policy analysis since the mid-2000s. Additionally, he continues his military service at the state militia-level with the Georgia State Defense Force as a senior non-commissioned officer (NCO).

Caverly, enjoys exercising, reading, and is a regular at local coffee shops. Since 1977, he has been a passionate collector of super hero comic books. Currently, he is intermittently pursuing a second degree in philosophy through Columbia University in the City of New York.
