Biography: Jasmine Brown has been a registered respiratory therapist since 2006, specializing primarily in adult critical care until 2020. Since 2015, she has served as Professor and Director of Clinical Education in the Department of Respiratory Therapy and Health Sciences at 51ԹϺ. She has been instrumental in advancing the program’s simulation-based learning initiatives, from design to implementation. In 2023, she earned the prestigious Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator–Advanced (CHSE‑A) credential, and she may be the first respiratory therapist in the nation to achieve this distinction.

Education: As a proud alumna of the program, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and her Master of Science from Georgia State University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Adult Learning and Development.
